The play premiered around the world is the result of more than 200 interviews with women of all ages, nationalities and
social status. The play tells real stories of many of those women by mixing reality with fiction, or in some cases, just letting the inspiration fly.

"Women of Sand"
Sydney Action for Juárez, is part of a global initiative raising public awareness about continuing brutality and violence against women in the Mexican city of Juárez.
The scene that it's going to be presented is a preview of the upcoming production of "Women of Sand (Mujeres de Arena)", written as a piece of documentary theatre by
playwright Humberto Robles aiming to create awareness about the situation in city of Juarez.
With the direction of Alexander Palacio and assisted by Liliana Correa, the play will show emotions, situations and will picture the reality of Women of Juarez.
